About Me

Work Life

With over 20 years of experience in print and web technologies my job titles over the years include Graphic Designer, UX Designer, Project Coordinator and Front-end Web Developer. I am proficient in XHTML, CSS, graphic design, user interface design, page layout, illustration and image production, and I also like to play with JavaScript, PHP, and 3-D Modeling Software.

Moreno Design Media is my independent contracting company name. I provide web design and web development services to small and medium-size businesses. I’ve been doing websites, landing pages, emails, and marketing collateral for many years now. I currently work on a part-time basis, because I am a stay-at-home Mom. Now that my little ones are getting older and becoming more independent, I decided to go back to college to learn some new 3-D skills. My last two courses will end May 2023. I am eager to see if I can pick-up some full-time work after classes end ~ this could even include work in Computer Aided Design/Drafting, which is the new field I am pursuing. Family Life

I'm a Texas Girl, but I've spent a lot of my life living in Seattle. I first moved to Washington State right after I graduated college in 2000. I lived and worked there for several years and then moved back to Texas in 2007.

In 2008, I met and married my amazing husband, Francis. After my hubby graduated college, he received a job offer in Everett, WA. So in 2012, I became a Washingtonian once again. The Pacific Northwest was absolutely beautiful, but a bit lonely without our family nearby, so we decided to make a little family of our own. We were blessed with a girl and a boy who are now ages 10 and 8. The Moreno Family also includes two fur-babies (Mona Lisa and Cookie).

When 2020 rolled around, we had an opportunity to move back to Texas. It was a bit of a challenge moving at the beginning of the Covid Crisis, but we managed to make it happen. We lived in San Antonio for a little over a year and then a new job opportunity for my husband came about in 2021, which is why we are now in "The Sooner State". We really love living in Oklahoma, and we're only a 5-hour drive from Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Hobbies

I love to painting, draw, cook and learn new technologies like CNC Machining and 3D Printing. My husband and I big time D-I-Y-ers. My kids also love to help with any home remodeling or wood working projects we take on.
